Connecticut lawmakers approve bill to raise THC limit in cannabis seltzers

The measure, which passed by a single vote, would increase the allowable THC level from 3 milligrams to 5 milligrams.

Stronger THC drinks are one step closer to being sold in Connecticut after lawmakers narrowly approved a bill Thursday night to raise the allowable THC level in cannabis seltzers.

THC is the active ingredient in marijuana.

Under the bill, the limit in seltzers would increase from 3 milligrams to 5 milligrams.

The bill now heads to Gov. Lamont for signing.
