Lawmakers in Connecticut are weighing in on the controversy surrounding the ABC sitcom "American Housewife."
Senate Majority Leader Bob Duff has joined the criticism.
Duff has written a letter to ABC asking the show to stop its attacks on Norwalk and apologize to the city's residents.
The show takes place in Westport and has repeatedly referenced Norwalk, portraying its residents in a not-so-positive way.
Several Norwalk officials, including the school superintendent, have also written to ABC, and an online petition has been launched.
