Twenty store locations in Connecticut are included in the customer information hacking of Chipotle restaurants across the country.
According to representatives with the restaurant, the hack started in mid-March and ended in mid-April of this year.
Chipotle says the hackers used the magnetic strips on customers' credit and debit cards to gain access to their information in more than 2,000 stores around the U.S.
The company quickly removed the malware from their system once they realized what was happening and contacted law enforcement.
Chipotle is working with banks on correcting any issues with customer's accounts and cards.
The investigation is active and ongoing. No arrests have yet to be made.
