The bill to change Connecticut's official food to pizza has been squashed by lawmakers.
The pizza bill died because it did not get a vote last night.
Some lawmakers in Connecticut wanted to make it the state's official food.
The bill caused a feud with neighboring states New York and New Jersey who also claim their pizza is the best.
The pizza bill will have to wait another year before it could be voted on again.
