The state's first defendant to go on trial since the beginning of the pandemic has been found guilty of murder.
Larise King has been found guilty of murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
King was accused of hiring a relative to kill her estranged husband, Dathan Gray, who was shot to death in Bridgeport in July of 2019.
King was tried before a three-judge panel, not a jury. Jury trials haven’t started in Connecticut yet.
Two of the three judges found her guilty of the charges.
One judge agreed with facts but dissented on intent because he believed it should’ve been manslaughter and conspiracy to commit assault.
