Stamford police say a former teacher who was convicted of a fatal drunken driving accident is expected to turn herself in today to begin serving a 12-year prison sentence.
Prosecutors say Tricia Coccomo crossed the double yellow line and crashed into another car, killing three people back in 2005.
Coccomo was convicted of manslaughter and drunk driving in 2007.
The state Appellate Court threw out those convictions in 2009, but the state Supreme Court reinstated them last month.Former Stamford teacher facing prison time
