407ds agoA cooling center is now open at a Bridgeport church thanks to a city grant.
The Mount Aery Baptist Church has been a fixture in the Hollow section of Bridgeport for years and now they are proud to offer a cooling and warming space at the rear of their facility that just opened in February.

The center is equip with charging stations, breakfast and lunch are served, and there are cots available to rest.
The space is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the event of extreme weather.
