The Westport school district is reportedly suing a Seymour couple for allegedly stealing an education for their daughter.
The Connecticut Post reports that the couple falsely registered her as a town resident so she could attend Kings Highway Elementary School for two years.
A town attorney says the couple owes Westport more than $27,000 in back tuition.
This comes after a local case that made national headlines last year when a homeless mother in Bridgeport was charged with larceny for enrolling her son in a Norwalk school.
