Crews clean up leak from gas tanker in Stamford

Crews in Stamford had to clean up after a gas tanker started leaking Tuesday night.
It happened shortly after 9 p.m. at the intersection of West Main Street and West Avenue.
Firefighter say the tanker took a corner wrong, struck a pole and ruptured.
Crews worked to contain and clean the spill and the remaining gas was taken from the damaged portion before the truck was backed off the pole.
