Firefighters responded to reports of smoke in the Woodmont Road area Tuesday around 9:30 p.m.

A large amount of smoke was coming from a commercial building at 230 Woodmont Rd. when crews arrived on the scene.

They say all the units in the building were unoccupied, and there were no injuries.

Officials say the fire was contained to one building, but adjacent structures had smoke damage.

The cause is under investigation.
