Warmer temperatures this week; rain on the way for Election Day

WHAT'S NEW: Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Michele Powers says scattered showers are on their way along a warm front that will move through Tuesday.  Light rain begins tonight and will continue until the morning. Roads will be wet, so watch for wet leaves! Breezy and mild conditions into the afternoon Tuesday. Highs will climb into the middle 60s, but it will be brief and much colder air will fill in at night. The rest of the week looks seasonable.
WHAT'S NEXT: Seasonable temperatures in the 50s throughout the week. More rain and wintry mix showers later Wednesday into early Thursday. Not much rain this week and there is a possibility for a more significant cooldown next weekend.
TUESDAY: Light showers. Breezy and mostly cloudy. High of 67.
WEDNESAY: Sunny, noticeably cooler. High of 52.
THURSDAY: Scattered showers. High of 54.
FRIDAY: Partly sunny, high of 52.
