More than 1,300 bicyclists worked up a sweat Saturday in an annual biking fundraiser for the Connecticut Challenge in Westport.
The riders pedaled for proceeds to help cancer survivors.
Among the participants was sixth-grader Olivia Charles, who rode 10 miles in honor of her mother, who died of cancer three years ago.
Organizers are asking for donations because they say they need to raise an additional $1 million by September.
