Hardware stores across southwestern Connecticut are hoping for a big boom in business with snow moving into the area Friday.
At Carlyn Hardware store in Norwalk, residents were coming in to stock up on all the necessary snow supplies. Rock salt, shovels and scrapers were flying off the shelves Thursday. The assistant manager of Carlyn Hardware says the store hasn't been that busy in quite some time.
A snow advisory is in effect for parts of southwestern Connecticut Friday.
