After having a near-death experience, a successful investment banker decided to change the way he lived his life.



Paul Treyfry was 47 and making seven figures when he underwent sudden heart surgery that left him with little chance of survival. When he came out healthy, he decided to use his second lease on life to help the less fortunate.



Through the Greenwhich-based Stanwich Church, Treyfry became committed to helping residents of Guatemala and other nations ravaged by poverty. Treyfry also spent time in Haiti, caring for 65 orphans.



Treyfry is hoping to raise more money to help children in Guatemala and Haiti, where starvation and disease are ever-present worries.
