The calendar may say it's February, but it felt more like May today in southwestern Connecticut, with people shedding their coats and heading outdoors to enjoy the unseasonably warm weather.
In Stamford, residents like Jerry Sarnelli swapped their snow shoes for golf shoes and headed for the links.
"It's fantastic," Sarnelli says. "I mean, it's a lot better than last year."
Others enjoyed a few sets on the tennis court, taking advantage of the spring-like temperatures.
Some local residents even headed to the beach for a walk, savoring the mild weather while it lasts.
