Restaurant owners on the boardwalk on Calf Pasture Beach say they believe people will still come out for Memorial Day weekend despite some wet weather in the forecast.
Many people say they're hoping the sunny, warm weather will stay over the weekend as cooler temperatures and potential rain move through the area.
This Memorial Day marks a milestone for local restaurants, as indoor and outdoor bars can now open and all other restrictions are lifted.
With potential changes in this year's weather forecast, Ripka's Beach Cafe and Sunset Grille on Calf Pasture Beach tell News 12 they're preparing like any normal Memorial Day weekend - even if it rains.
They both say they've seen more people come out ever before even with bad weather this year, most likely because they want to get out and do things right now.
