The Thanksgiving traffic statistics for 2023 are in, and Connecticut State Police were pretty busy.
From Wednesday up until the weekend, police responded to nearly 6,000 service calls.
They helped nearly 250 motorists, issued almost 180 speeding tickets, arrested 28 people for driving under the influence and responded to 356 car accidents.
