Danbury announces indoor mask mandate for all public spaces

The city of Danbury will now require masks indoors at all its public spaces, city officials announced.

The city of Danbury will now require masks indoors at all its public spaces, city officials announced.
An announcement was made on the city's Facebook page Sunday. 
The post read, "As of today, Aug. 15, masks are required indoors in all public spaces. Thank you for your cooperation as we work to mitigate further spread of COVID-19 in our community."
The post also states that masks are required inside all public spaces regardless of vaccination status.
Officials say indoor spaces include restaurants, stores, work offices, and apartment common areas.
