The state parole board said today a Danbury woman who drowned her baby in a toilet will be released early.
Panna Krom was sentenced to 18 years in prison.
Prosecutors say Krom was 17 years old when she delivered the baby in a bathroom in 2006.
Krom is now 26 and says her sentence is excessive.
Officials say she will be released on Sept. 30.
