A man will spend 55 years in prison for his role in a shooting and robbery in Stamford.
Darryl Bonds was sentenced yesterday.
He was one of four men arrested in 2009 for the killing of 22-year-old Denny Alcantara.
Police say Bonds and two of the other suspects robbed Alcantara before shooting him.
Charges against the fourth defendant were ultimately dropped.
