Christine Limone, the daughter of Norwalk Mayor Harry Rilling, was arrested by Connecticut State Police last week on five counts of injury to a child.
The warrant is currently sealed, but sources tell News 12 her arrest is in connection to an investigation that began in 2016 following the death of a child at her day care.
The medical examiner ruled that the child died from sudden unexpected infant death.
During the initial investigation, Limone voluntarily turned over her day care license.
She was released on a promise to appear in court. Her arraignment date is set for June 22.
