A Bronx playground that children use is infested with rats, according to workers at a nearby day care center.

Staff members at the Sunshine Learning Center on Willis Avenue in Mott Haven say the school uses the neighboring Clark Playground on East 144th Street. 

Teachers, directors and parents say they have all called 311 about the infestation and were told it would take the city 14 days to inspect the playground. They waited for two weeks, but say no inspection has been made.

The Parks Department says it is aware of the problem and will spend several months inspecting the park and baiting the rats.
