The death of a 25-year-old pedestrian in Westport has residents calling for more safety measures.
Peter Greenberg, of Westport, was struck and killed Monday by an SUV on Bulkley Avenue North.
Police have not yet said if speed was a factor in the incident. The driver who hit Greenberg is cooperating in the investigation.
First Selectman Jim Marpe told News 12 that the town recently studied how to improve crosswalks on nearby Post Road.
"We're looking at installing flashing lights in some selected crosswalks," he says.
