The price of used cars and trucks and beverages like juice, water, and soda all went up in Connecticut, according to new data from Investopedia.
The price of used cars and trucks went up 3.1% from a year ago, non-alcoholic beverages like juices, sodas, and waters, went up 3%.
Alcoholic beverages are also up 2.1%.
Caleb Silver with Investopedia says inflation is at a 40-year high across the country.
Silver says the U.S. Census Bureau's recent household pulse survey shows that 25% of Connecticut respondents are also having trouble or extreme trouble paying household bills.
