18h agoThe state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) has identified the two bodies recovered from Candlewood Lake Thursday morning.
The individuals have been identified as Muzha Medardo Vayancela, 26, and Loja Klever Guanuchi, 36.
Both men lived in Danbury.
A GoFundMe page has been set up for them.
They had last been seen jumping off a boat into the water Monday night and then failing to return.
Three other people were also on board the boat, but they weren't hurt.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is performing its examination Friday.
The incident is being investigated as an accident, according to DEEP.
