Demolition begins on Stratford factory
Crews in Stratford are demolishing the former Contract Plating factory on Longbrook Avenue. Mayor John Harkins was there to witness the demolition funded by a nearly $3 million grant from the state.

Crews in Stratford are demolishing the former Contract Plating factory on Longbrook Avenue.
Mayor John Harkins was there to witness the demolition funded by a nearly $3 million grant from the state.
Harkins says the site will be used for new jobs in the community.
This is the second recent demolition project with the town removing an old coal-storage facility two weeks ago.
