The state Department of Transportation says it's scrapping plans for a massive redevelopment project around the Stamford train station.
As News 12 has reported, the city and state announced plans in 2013 for a multi-use complex that would include apartments, stores and a parking garage.
State officials say three years of negotiations have led to no formal plan, so instead, the state will build a 1,000-space parking garage on the property.
