Hundreds turned out at Fairfield Woods Middle School on Sunday for the second annual "Dink for Pink Pickleball Fundraiser."
Organizers said they raised more than $11,000 to benefit the Norma Pfriem Breast Center.
Jenn Delangelo said her mother died at 53.
"That is why this is so important to me to make sure that everyone is aware of their bodies and making sure that they get checked. And it affects all of us. So together collectively, pickleball is something we're all passionate about, so it just seemed the obvious way to raise money and get together as a community," she added.
