Disney on Ice' spreading holiday magic this weekend in Bridgeport
The performance features music from "The Little Mermaid," "Beauty and the Beast," "Moana" and "Encanto."
The soundtrack from Disney favorites, new and old, will come to life at Bridgeport's Total Mortgage Arena this weekend.
Disney on Ice's Find Your Hero tour will be in the city through Sunday.
"it's one of the most popular times of the year," says Sari Behr, who plays Belle.
"It truly brings the magic to life, which is so amazing to bring to all the family and friends that come to see our shows," says Skye Patton, who plays Luisa.
The performance features music from "The Little Mermaid," "Beauty and the Beast," "Moana" and "Encanto."
Mickey and Minnie also make a special appearance.
Performers say the magic of the show is how it incorporates elements from Disney favorites into the performance, which does take practice.
"Right behind me, we actually are having edge class, which we typically do every opening night. Just to make sure we're skating together, getting used to the different lengths and widths of the ice. It's exciting to be able to continue to explore our passion on the ice," says Patton.
Patton says it never gets old sharing the magic of the show with the audience.
"I remember watching Disney on Ice for the first time when I was 8 years old and absolutely falling in love with the magic. We truly have something for everyone," says Patton.
