Dozens of people became U.S. citizens during a pair of naturalization ceremonies held Friday in Stamford.
The ceremonies were held at the Ferguson Library.
The newly naturalized citizens tell News 12 that becoming U.S. citizens will allow them to stay in the country with their families.
More than 140 people gained citizenship in the ceremonies.
