Dozens of executive orders Gov. Ned Lamont signed to help ease the effects of the pandemic have come to an end today.
The option to offer alcoholic takeout beverages for restaurants came to a close at midnight.
City and town leaders have held virtual meetings to discuss decisions impacting residents for the past year. Now, there is nothing preventing virtual meetings from continuing as long as the public has the option to attend.
The state eviction moratorium that has been helping tenants and renters for the past year has also expired.
The federal moratorium will not expire until the end of July, but it's the last extension the government is providing for renters.
