A driver accused of recklessly passing school buses and other vehicles was stopped by police while traveling through Brookfield.

The stop happened on Route 7 North, police said.

The driver was identified as 22-year-old Daniel Nittardi of Thomaston.

Police charged him with driving with a suspended license.

He was also charged with failure to carry insurance, registration and a license plate, police said.

Nittardi is due to appear in Danbury court on the Feb. 19.
