Stamford police have made an arrest in a fatal car crash from November.

Kadeem Mitchell has been charged with second-degree manslaughter for an accident on Route 137.

Authorities say Mitchell was driving a BMW when he lost control and hit a tree off the side of the road.

Mitchell and his passenger, Donte Smith, had to be removed from the car. Smith died as a result of the crash.

Mitchell is due back in court later this month.
