East Haven police say a woman is accused of convincing her husband he had Alzheimer's so that she could steal $600,000 from him.

East Haven police say a woman is accused of convincing her husband he had Alzheimer's so that she could steal $600,000 from him.
They say Donna Marino stole and forged pension, settlement and Social Security checks from her husband over a period of 20 years. Police say she also conspired with a friend who is a notary public to sign the papers giving her power of attorney over him.
They say she kept his suspicions at bay by convincing the man that he was suffering from dementia.
