Easton neighbors who are fired up about a proposed chicken farm sounded off Monday night at Samuel Staples Elementary School, where a public meeting was held.
Dozens of people signed contact tracing sheets to attend the meeting of the zoning Board of Appeals.
The proposed farm would be on Tranquility Drive - which would be the building that would be used to slaughter the birds.
The entity that owns the property is called the Connecticut State Police Barracks Trust - and people say there is speculation about why that name was selected.
