A 98-year-old woman is fighting her son's attempt to kick her out of her own home in Fairfield.
Mary Kantorowski says she was served with eviction papers on her birthday back in December from her oldest son Peter.
Her son says he's worried about his mother living alone because she can become disoriented at times.
News 12 Connecticut spoke with Kantorowski's other son Jack, who says the original agreement was that his mother would live in the home until she died and then both brothers would have part ownership of the home, which is now assessed at $333,000.
The younger brother alleges that Peter has been trying to push their mother out of the home.
A court has ruled Mary competent to handle her own affairs. The family is due in court March 2.
