Dozens of churchgoers turned out Tuesday for the arraignment of a former Greenwich church music director accused of possessing child pornography. Sixty-four-year-old Robert Tate pleaded not guilty. He stepped down from his position at the Christ Episcopal Church in October. Members of the FBI arrested Tate on child pornography charges in early November. According to the indictment, Tate possessed computer images of minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct. If convicted he faces 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
