A federal judge has just handed down a 15-and-a-half-year prison sentence to Jared Fogle, the former spokesman for Milford-based restaurant giant Subway.
Prosecutors say Fogle, 38, paid to have sex with girls as young as 16 and also received child pornography from the director of his charitable donation.
The judge's sentence was more severe than the 12 and a half years the prosecution had recommended as part of a plea agreement.
