The mother of a Bridgeport teen who was shot and killed opened up on Friday about her heartbreaking loss.

KJ was known as "Noodles" to his friends and family.

Just a day before being killed, the 18-year-old played basketball at the Trumbull Gardens Community Center.

Noodles' mother shared recent photos showing the two of them. She said her son was a high school senior who would have graduated this year from Bassick High School.

The teen was shot to death in his home on Olive Street on Thursday.

“I want to say thank you to everybody who's called me and sent me messages. I love all of you guys, and Noodles will be greatly missed," his mother said.
