The upcoming crisp weather and colorful leaves on trees have residents in southwestern Connecticut admiring the outdoor views.
Experts say the abnormally dry conditions the state has experienced in recent weeks caused some leaves to turn color and fall early, at times as early as August.
However, arborist Jeffrey Moore says that the cool, dry and sunny weather means great fall foliage.
"Some colors, you just look at them and you're in awe," Moore says. "The deep bright reds and the yellows ... it's just going to get even better from this point forward."
