1,067ds agoA Fairfield father is weeks away from seeing his daughter compete for a medal at the Olympics, but the road to that race has been filled with twists and turns.
Since she was a little girl, Rick Santos dreamed of seeing his daughter Kristen Santos at the Olympics.
She'll be racing for a medal in short track speed skating. She says she switched from figure skating after seeing a Disney Channel commercial and knew this was her sport.
News 12 Connecticut's Suzanne Goldklang met up with Kristen and Rick Santos before Kristen heads to Beijing for the Olympics.
