Caitlin Clarkson Pereira and her siblings are rallying around a woman after thieves stole the scooter she relied on to get to work.
The bright pink electric scooter is the woman's only form of transportation. Police say it was stolen between late Thursday night and Friday morning.
Pereira's family has started a GoFundMe page and is aiming to raise $1,500 for a new scooter for the woman, who does not want to be identified.
The family said the woman was an aide for their sick mother and said she was "an amazing gift to our family," according to the fundraising page.
According to reports, the woman left her scooter in a parking lot on Trefoil Court and the next morning it was missing.
