Fairfield police officials are shaving their facial hair for a good cause.
Over $3,300 was raised for cancer awareness and research following the end of No Shave November.
Participants say they were happy to participate in the campaign because it's all for a good cause.
"Just to raise awareness for men's health and cancer awareness in general, it's a great cause and it's a big issue," Mike Colwell from the Fairfield Police Department says.
Chief Gary MacNamara waived the department's standard grooming policy so officers could participate in the campaign.
