Fairfield police say the driver involved in the
fatal pedestrian crash on Redding Road on June 23 has been arrested.
They say 51-year-old Meghan Rice, of Newtown, turned herself into police headquarters Monday.
Rice has been charged with negligent homicide with a motor vehicle in connection with the death of Meghan Raveis, who was struck by a vehicle in the 500 block of Redding Road on June 23.
Rice was released on a $100,000 bond and is due in court on July 31.
