Fairfield police are searching for a man who snuck into Pepe's Pizza in the middle of the day and stole from employees.
It happened at the restaurant on Commerce Drive Saturday afternoon.
Officers say the suspect came in through the back door and rummaged through an employee's purse.
He briefly left the building before returning and running back into the basement.
Police say the thief took more than $200 in cash as well as a gold bracelet and a ring.
