2ds agoA Milford man is accused of sexually assaulting an underage girl in Fairfield.
Fairfield police say Jose Deleon-Castaneda, 45, was under investigation for assaulting a juvenile, who he knew, on numerous occasions.
The assaults took place in Fairfield and date back as far as 2005.
Police say Deleon-Castaneda confessed to officers during an interview.
He was arrested Wednesday and charged with sexual assault.
Deleon-Castaneda was held on a $500,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
