Fairfield police are urging students around Ludlowe High School to be cautious after they say a man tried to attack a student.According to police, a 16-year old girl was walking home from school Friday when a man with a knife forced her into a backyard by Holland Hill and Jennings roads. Police say the girl involved in the incident did the right thing by screaming to get away from her attacker. Now, police are asking students and parents to review important safety tips. Fairfield Police Sgt. Jim Perez says stick to the buddy system, try not to just listen to music on headphones if alone and keep your ears and eyes open to your surroundings.
