Fairfield community members gathered to discuss the impacts of climate change Wednesday.
The public got a look at a presentation by the Connecticut Sea Grant about how to best adapt as a community to climate change.
The presentation was given at Penfield Pavilion.
Rising sea levels were a central part of the discussion, calling to mind what they mean for the future of the coastline.
State officials are predicting a 20-inch rise in sea level by 2050.
