While rain is in the forecast for southwestern Connecticut Wednesday, residents are being asked to keep an eye on their storm drains.
The town of Fairfield is working to clean out the drains to help avoid flooding. Most of the leaves that have fallen are being pushed into the drains, blocking them and causing flooding.
Department of Public Works officials say any effort to clear the drains would be helpful.
