One of Fairfield's three middle schools is switching to remote learning for the rest of the week after an uptick in COVID-19 cases.
Officials say students at Fairfield Woods Middle School were moved out of the seventh-grade wing yesterday after more cases were confirmed.
The entire school will be closed for deep cleaning.
Officials say the new cases among students and staff are not related to the cafeteria worker diagnosed with COVID-19 earlier this week.
